BodyWise Eating
If you have chronic body depletion, now you understand why. Now it's time to use your body wisdom and begin healing yourself. Lifestyle choices are responsible for 88% of the illnesses that send us to the doctor, and how we eat, move, sleep, love, and find a sense of purpose determines most of our wellness. In the coming lessons, we'll explore each of these elements, starting in this lesson with the importance of what you EAT.
Here are the types of foods to begin integrating into your diet if you haven't already:
● Foods grown without pesticides, hormones, or antibiotics
● Lots of fruits and vegetables
● Beans, legumes, and lentils
● Nuts and seeds as part of our protein requirements
● Good fats like olives and olive oil, nuts and seeds, avocado, and coconut
● Cold water fish (that is sustainable and low in mercury) and some lean meat (preferably organic and grass-fed)
● Whole grains, if your body likes them
● Fermented foods
● Organic dairy products, if your body likes them
● Water as your primary beverage (or herbal tea), with some moderate tea, coffee, or alcohol
● Limited natural sweets or sweeteners
● Lots of spices
